Rule the Runway Fashion Show

In my Junior Year of High School I had the opportunity to participate in the Rule The Runway fashion show. In teams of three, we were tasked with designing and creating royally-themed outfits: a black tie outfit created from a selection of quality materials and notions provided by Marshall Fabrics, and an up cycled outfit made from a mystery box of items that included a recycled wedding dress and unique adornments. The fashion show was a collaborative effort between Kingsway Mall and the Edmonton Public School Foundation to fundraise money to help support six full-day Kindergarten programs. Together we were able to raise 20 000 dollars. I was tasked with designing and sewing the black tie outfit for my team. You can find my design below.

Senior Prom

To commemorate finishing High School I chose to both design and sew my senior prom dress.
